KOREA’S BEST MENSWEAR DESIGNER COMING TO VIETNAM
Dubbed as “Korea’s best designer of menswear”, Zio Song has proven himself on international fashion runways. The famous designer from the Land of the Morning Calm will showcase his latest collection at Vietnam International Fashion Week 2014 this December. Zio Song – the designer behind the brand Songzio is the first international name that the Vietnam International Fashion Week Organising Committee has revealed.
The fashion designer lauded as “Korea’s best designer of menswear” will present his latest collection on the runway of Vietnam International Fashion Week (VIFW) 2014. This is one of the first names on the international designer list of VIFW 2014, which has been revealed. Slated to be Vietnam’s most significant fashion week to date, VIFW will present, in total, seven acclaimed international designers alongside nine leading Vietnamese designers.
At the moment, the designer list is one of the most talked-about topics amongst the fashion followers nationwide. The organisers, FIDé Fashion Weeks and Multimedia JSC will officially reveal all the names of the presenting designers at the upcoming press conference, which will be held at GEM CENTER on the 6th of November 2014.
After graduating from ESMOD Paris – one of the most prestigious fashion schools in the world with a Metion D’Homme award, Zio Song taught at ESMOD Seoul for a few years before starting his eponymous label. In 1999, he presented his SONGZIO brand focusing on menswear. In 2007, Zio Song presented his menswear collection at Paris Fashion Week, earning him international critical acclaim amongst key media outlets and fashion lovers. His designs are now commonly featured in prominent international fashion weeks such as Seoul Fashion Week, FIDé Men’s Fashion Week where he presented in every season and this coming December, Zio Song will make his debut in Ho Chi Minh City at Vietnam International Fashion Week 2014. Over the years, Zio Song and his SONGZIO brand are not only sought-after in Korea but also admired by the fans of menswear around the world because of his talent and elegant, classic creations for men.
We have no doubt that following the announcement of Zio Song’s name as part of the Vietnam International Fashion Week line up, the Korean designer will garner significant interests and support from Vietnamese fashion followers for his remarkable talent in designing menswear.
