VIETNAM INTERNATIONAL FASHION WEEK

According to the schedule officially announced by the organizer of Vietnam International Fashion Week, 17 fashion shows will be started continously from December 1 to 6 at GEM CENTER, 8 Nguyen Binh Khiem, District 1, HCMC. Cong Tri the talented designer, who has just been appointed to be a governor of Asian Couture Federation (ACF), and renowned Korean designer Zio Song (with brandname SongZio) have had the honor to open and end the week of fashion line-up.

“I’m very excited for the coming showcase, but I’m also feeling nervous like when I first joined big fashion events back in the days, since all the designers joining Vietnam International Fashion Week are long-experieced people from developed countries. Moreover, the fact that I got nominated to open Vietnam International Fashion Week somehow is a pressure to me. So I want to make one of the best parts of the show in return to those trusting me” – shared Cong Tri.

Nguyen Cong Tri also thinks this new collection is a mark for his coming-back on stage in the year 2014, which brings lots of expectation to Vietnamese fashionista for the opening show of VIFW.

Nguyen Cong Tri has been officially joined the Asian Couture Federation as a governor representing Vietnam, therefore, his opening the show is very meaningful. As arranged, Cong Tri will be  one of Vietnamese representatives to joining the show with designers who are also governors of the federation.

Nguyen Cong Tri’s fashion show will be taken place on November 1, at 8:00PM.

Up to the official schedule, there will be 9 global fashion brands from different countries such as Antonio Grimaldi (Italy), On Aura Tout Vu (France), Defined Moment (France), Atelier Chardon Savard (France), ISSUE (Thailand), Frederick Lee (Singapore), Tsolo Munkh (Mongolio), Somarta (Japan), and Song Zio (Korea), along with 8 Vietnamese designers: Nguyen Cong Tri, Hoang Hai, Adrian Anh Tuan, Le Thanh Hoa, Chung Thanh Phong, Hoang Minh Ha, Ly Giam Tien, and Li Lam.

The fashion line-up will be opening from 6:00PM for guest welcoming and ending at 10:00PM. There will be averagely 4 shows per day. However, there will be Gala Dinner in the first day of fashion week as a welcome to every special guest, designer and model taking part in the event, followed by Cong Tri’s opening show. Especially, the most typical and selective designs will be presented to millions of audience on VTV3 the national channel. The live final show is also the overview of Vietnam International Fashion Week 2014, a bridge to connect designers with their target clients via television.
